Mural Status

Another late night but the majority of work is complete.

Arch City Gaming Company Mural

We were fortunate enough to get a call for a mural, the owner of Arch City Gaming Co. needed his logo painted on a wall.  He hopes to open this Friday (March 25th), and though we are a bit crunched for time, we think we can get it completed for him.

More Info	We will be celebrating the life of Matt "Deach" Dittrich. In his honor we are gathering musicians that played some of his favorite music. All money raised will be donated to Matt's family. Line up: Soulreal(dubstep, Dnb, Matt's favs) STL Soulreal will be spinning some of Matt's favorite songs in between each act. If you have any requests of songs you know Matt liked or that make you think of him post it on the wall of this page. Well, last night we put the finishing touches on the third painting!  Having painted the sides we needed to let it sit and dry!

So, so close!  Wood mounting has been stained, two of three paintings complete; feels good to be nearly done!

Did some work in Photoshop last night hashing out our ideas for our new site.

Another Night of Hard Work

So, we are starting to get a sense of cohesion amongst all three pieces, made some radical changes to one canvas in particular, and think we are getting awfully close to completing the project!

This painting alone has gone through some significant changes.

 

NEW Addition to the Group

So tonight Edison Art group gained another talent, George Millsap. As a web designer he will allow us to expand our services and branch out into a new realm of art and design.

Be on the look-out for some changes we are very excited about...

• We are working on a new website.
• We hope to start selling prints of our art online via our website in the near future; maybe some other stuff as well.
• We are looking to expand into web design and addtional graphic design artwork.
• ...And of course we will continue to work with our beloved medium - oil paint.

Split Pease - Art Soup Show

Finally managed to find some time to catch a show at Concrete Ocean Art Gallery since the Choice Art Auction.

Many talented artists' works were shown and we hope we can be a part of this amazing gallery in the future.
